Ambarsariya’s story began long before the restaurant opened its doors in Lahore.
Our ancestors first made their home in Amritsar, the cultural heart of Punjab. When our family migrated from Srinagar, they carried more than just belongings; they carried recipes, traditions, and a deep respect for authentic Kashmiri Butt flavors.
After the 1947 partition, our family settled in Lahore. Those age-old recipes found a new home here, cooked the same way they always had been, patiently, generously, and with care. From this history, Ambarsariya Restaurant was born.
